Real Estate Professionals Making the News Katz & Associates Corp. (704-334-3122) promoted Julie Gardner to vice president of the Southeast region. She will continue to oversee all real estate activities for the company’s clients in GA, NC and SC. Gardner has been with the company since 2005.
NAI Olympia Partners (317-264-9400) hired Jason Speckman as a specialist in office and retail investment transactions for the company. He previously was the director of business at Century 21 Realty Group as well as a broker associate.
Johnson Capital (949-851-8400) added Jay Ash as a senior director of the company’s Irvine, CA office. Most recently, Ash was a director for U.S Realty Capital and has previously worked for Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, CoStar, Cushman & Wakefield and The Galbreath Co.
Sperry Van Ness – Miller Commercial Real Estate (410-543-2440) tapped Brent Miller and Amy Miller to serve as managing directors. Brent Miller will also serve as senior advisor. Henry H. Hanna and John McClellan will be senior advisors. They had previously worked at Long & Foster Commercial. In addition, Sperry Van Ness – Miller Commercial Real Estate hired Wesley Cox, Chris Peek, Donna Savage, Bradley Gillis, Rick Tilghman and Darren Crawford as advisors. Karl Kimlel and Cathy Justice will head the management division.
Coreland Cos. (714-573-7780) hired Susan Szabo as regional real estate manager. She will be responsible for supervising the real estate management and operational activities of the company’s portfolio of retail and mixed-use properties located throughout Orange County, CA. Szabo will handle physical operations, tenant relations, lease negotiations, budgeting, reporting and construction management. She had previously been the general manager for Pan Pacific Retail Properties.
MacFarlane Partners (415-356-2500) hired Greg Vilkin as managing principal and president effective March 1. Vilkin will be responsible for oversight of the company’s urban real estate and single-family housing investment groups. He currently is president of Forest City Residential West and Forest City Stapleton, subsidiaries of Forest City Enterprises, Inc.
Prime Group Realty Trust (312-917-4222) named Nancy J. Fendley executive vice president of leasing. She will head the company’s leasing team and report directly to the president and CEO. Fendley had previously served as vice president of leasing for Trizec Properties, Inc.
Retail Brokers, Inc. (480-894-6363) added David Bradford as director of land acquisition. Bradford has acquired and sold land throughout AZ and Washington, DC.
Heslin Holdings, Inc. (949-265-7001) appointed Casey McKeon as director of acquisitions. He will oversee all acquisition and development opportunities in the Southwest as part of the company’s expansion. Previously, McKeon had worked as the director of development at Southland Development, Inc.
United Retail Group, Inc. (201-909-2110) hired Aaron J. Fleishaker as senior vice president of real estate as part of the company’s expansion plans. Most recently, he had served as senior managing director of equity investments with DJM Asset Management. He also worked with Kimco Realty Corp. and Modell’s Sporting Goods.
Colliers Lanard & Axilbund (215-928-7523) hired Todd B. Sussman as an associate in its retail division. Sussman has previously worked as a finance specialist at Frankel Financial Corp.
Julius M. Feinblum Real Estate (516-844-8890) hired Mark Cooper to handle factory programs, independent retailers, big box furniture retailers and to oversee the Gilbert Esplanade Home Furnishings Center. He had previous worked with Ethan Allen and Thomasville. |
