Altus Realty Partners, LLC (703-243-4141) and Alex. Brown Realty, Inc. (410-727-3009) formed Mid-Atlantic Partners, LLC. The joint venture will acquire and develop infill
retail projects.

 

NAI Global (609-945-4000) hired Robert Lordi as vice president of corporate services. His responsibilities will include managing existing corporate services accounts and supporting clients on major projects and build-to-suit assignments.  Lordi formerly worked as the manager of leasing for the International Paper Co. and as vice president and manager of corporate real estate at First Fidelity Bank.

 

Johnson Capital Express (949-851-8400) hired Brent Kenefick as vice president.  His duties will include originating loans.  He has served as a commercial real estate loan officer and worked at Wells Fargo and US Bank. 

 

Goldschmidt & Associates (914-723-1616) hired David Szabo to join the company’s retail and investment sales divisions. He will be involved in the expansion of the divisions. Szabo had previously worked with GVA Williams, specializing in retail properties in Fairfield County, CT and Westchester County, NY.

Highland Development Co. (650-340-9910) hired Gary T. Ward as vice president of development at the company’s San Mateo office.  His responsibilities will be to direct all phases of real estate development in northern CA and the Pacific Northwest region with a focus on project feasibility, site acquisition, design and construction oversight and leasing activities.  Prior to joining the company, Ward operated his own development services business, worked as vice president of development with Trumark Commerical and Farallon Development Services and worked as vice president of real estate for the Lucky Stores supermarkets.  Highland Development Co., with a portfolio of retail and mixed-use projects in the western states, is a subsidiary of The Marcus & Millichap Co.

 

Newmark Knight Frank (212-372-2000) appointed Steve Morris to lead the strategic advisory services group of the company’s new Detroit, MI office. Morris has served as executive managing director and principal of the company. The company’s move into Detroit was through the absorption of Friedman Real Estate Corp.

 

Vintage Capital Group (310-979-9090) named Brenton Watson president of the company’s real estate division, which will be known as Vintage Real Estate, LLC. In addition, the company hired Keith Laird as executive vice president and Oscar Parra as vice president of the new company. Watson, Laird and Parra were formerly with Westfield.

 

Transwestern Houston (713-272-1212) added Brandi McDonald and Anthony Fritsche to its Houston Tenant Advisory Services team as managing directors.

 

Baum Realty Group, Inc. (312-666-3000) hired Carol Lockhart as a tenant representative for IN. She represents FedEx Kinko’s, Bo-Rics, Beef O’Brady’s, Trade Secret, Johnny Rockets and Primrose Schools Franchising Corp. Lockhart will also assist in the expansion of the company’s other IN clients. The company also added Steve Schwartz as a landlord representative for clients including Inland Commercial Properties, Shodeen Properties, Sedgwick Properties, VLF Development and Hayes Properties. In addition, the company hired Ann Baumann as a property leasing specialist. She had previously worked at Next Realty, LLC as director of leasing.
