The family apparel and home furnishings stores occupy spaces of 25,000 sq.ft. to 30,000 sq.ft. in strip and value centers and urban/downtown areas. Plans call for 25 openings throughout CA and the midwestern, northeastern and southeastern regions during the coming 18 months. Typical leases run 10 years. Preferred cotenants include supermarkets. Preferred demographics include a population of 100,000 within three miles earning $35,000 as the average household income. The company also trades as T.J. Maxx at 821 locations nationwide, excluding AK and HI. The discount family apparel stores occupy spaces of 30,000 sq.ft. to 35,000 sq.ft. in power and strip centers. Plans call for 25 openings throughout the existing markets during the coming 18 months. Typical leases run 10 years with options. Preferred cotenants include Staples, Target and supermarkets. Preferred demographics include a population of 100,000 within five miles.
