Holladay Properties is developing AmeriPlex at the Port, a 385-acre mixed-use center located in Portage, IN on Interstate 94. The site will include The Shops at Lakeshore Point, a 300,000 sq.ft. to 400,000 sq.ft. lifestyle center situated on 37.5 acres. Groundbreaking is slated for next spring. Area demographics include a population of 230,000 within 10 miles earning $55,000 as the median household income. The average daily traffic count is 74,000 vehicles.

Forest City Ratner Cos. is preleasing The New York Times Building, a 1.6 million sq.ft. office/retail site located at the intersection of 41st Street and 8th Avenue in New York, NY. The building will be occupied by The New York Times Co. from floors 2 to 28, with 24,000 sq.ft. of ground-level retail space available. Floors 28 to 52 are owned by Forest City Ratner Cos., totaling 700,000 sq.ft. and including an additional 24,000 sq.ft. of retail. The company signed a lease for 5,000 sq.ft. with the site’s first retail tenant, Muji. The Japanese retailer designs minimalist everyday products. The building will also house a 380-seat auditorium. Opening is slated for fall.

Sigma Commercial Realty, Inc. is preleasing Eisenhower Shopping Village, located on Eisenhower Drive in Hanover, PA.
