| Real Estate Professionals Making the News Woolbright Development, Inc. (866-WDI-1230) promoted Pete Schlang to director of leasing. He will lead the company’s retail leasing teams to lease space within the company’s shopping centers and new developments throughout FL. Schlang joined the company during 2002 and has been responsible for leasing space throughout southern and central FL. He was previously director of leasing for Continental Real Estate Cos. Metro Commercial Real Estate (610-825-5222) has hired Damon DiPlacido to join its retail leasing team. Prior to joining the company, he worked as a real estate sales associate for Keller Williams Realty and served as a mortgage consultant for Wachovia Bank. Paraclete Realty, LLC (410-987-9500) hired Cary G. Adams as senior real estate director. Adams has 30 years experience in the acquisition and disposal of real estate for retail, office and industrial uses, with an additional eight years of experience in developing sites for residential builders. He has worked for such companies as Giant Food, Hechingers, The May Department and the Mills Corp. Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Inc. (973-267-7778) promoted Mario Chiarella to manager at the company’s central NJ office. His responsibilities will include the management and operation of the office, industrial, land, retail and investment divisions for the central NJ office. Chiarella has been with the company since 2005, and specialized in tenant and landlord representation of office, flex and industrial space as well as investment sales, leasing and lease analysis. Prior to joining the company, he served as vice president at the Richter Organization, worked as director of tenant representation for Paramount Realty Services and as a tenant representation specialist for Dickson Real Estate Services. Colliers Arnold Commercial Real Estate Services (239-418-0300) hired Salli Jones-Doyon to join the company’s southwest FL retail team. Her responsibilities will include specializing in retail and office services for Collier and the southern portion of Lee counties in FL. The southwest FL retail team represents more than eight million sq.ft. of retail space and over 70 retailers. Previously, Jones-Doyon served as director of sales and leasing for a commercial real estate company that specialized in the development of Publix-anchored shopping centers, in addition to office and mixed-use projects. Prior experience also includes landlord representation and site selection for investors and the preleasing and leasing of retail and office space. |
