Lease Signings


Royal Properties, Inc. (914-237-3403) brokered the following leases at Hopewell Plaza, located at the intersection of Route 376 and Route 82 in Hopewell Junction, NY, representing the landlord and tenant: with Taxpert for a five-year 1,840 sq.ft. lease with a five-year option and with Creative Ceramics By You for 10 years with one five-year option. The company also brokered a 3,000 sq.ft. lease for a Dunkin’ Donuts location on Route 59 in Nyack, NY at a former OTB site. The company also brokered a 10-year lease with Hollywood Tans for 2,480 sq.ft. at Turnpike Square in Huntington, NY. Waldbaum’s Supermarket and Eckerd anchor the site. In addition, Royal Properties brokered a 10-year lease with Floris Nail & Spa for 4,000 sq.ft. on Westport Avenue/Route 1 in Norwalk, CT, representing the landlord, Strawberry Management, LLC. The lease has two five-year options. The center is anchored by Marshalls, Cingular, Blimpies and Pepperidge Farms. The company also signed a lease with Ruby Tuesday for a 5,300 sq.ft. restaurant on Central Park Avenue/Route 100 in Hartsdale, NY. The company also brokered three leases at Tarrytown Center, located at the intersection of Route 9 and Main Street in Tarrytown, NY, including Bark and Meow, Tarrytown Floral Design and Sung K Yoo Martial Arts, which will occupy 5,500 sq.ft. The center is 100% leased and cotenanted by 7-Eleven, H&R Block, Old Dutch Cleaners, Tony’s Pizzeria, Hudson Shores Realtors, Beallas Donut & Coffee Shop and New Town Salon.

Fraga Properties (305-667-1976) negotiated the following leases at Doral Retail Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Northwest 107 Avenue and Northwest 74th Street in Doral, FL: 3,500 sq.ft. with Bank of America; 1,400 sq.ft. with Subway; 1,400 sq.ft. with Oxxo Care Cleaners and 2,800 sq.ft. with Wine & Spirits Emporium. The company also negotiated the following leases at Cutler Bay Towne Center, located at the intersection of U.S. 1 and Southwest 211 Street in Miami-Dade, FL: 21,360 sq.ft. with Office Depot; 12,103 sq.ft. with Home Ko; 21,223 sq.ft. with K & G Fashions and 33,880 sq.ft. with 24 Hour Fitness Center. The Lightstone Group (800-347-4078) signed a 10-year lease with Retro Fitness for 11,980 sq.ft. at 25th Street Shopping Center on Route 22 in Easton, PA.

Winick Realty Group (212-792-2650) brokered a lease with Crumbs Bake Shop for 550 sq.ft. on Wall Street, between Pearl Street and Hanover Street, in New York, NY. Opening is slated for this month. The company represented the landlord, while BCD represented the tenant.

R.J. Waters & Associates, Inc. (610-444-6000) signed an 81,212 sq.ft. lease with Mealy’s Furniture. The store will be located at the 267,070 sq.ft. Center Point Place shopping center located at the intersection of Street Road and Old York Road in Warminster, PA.

NAI Capital (818-905-2400) represented JKC Hospitality, LLC with a 2,501 sq.ft.
lease for a Bear Rock Café location at Seabridge Marketplace, located on
South Victoria Avenue in Oxnard, CA. The lessee is a franchisee opening the first Bear
Rock Café in southern CA. Opening is slated for this fall. There are currently 39
restaurants located throughout 12 states offering sandwiches, such as Mojave BBQ Chicken and Colorado Turkey Club and entrees including Grilled Mahi Mahi,
3-Hour Pot Roast and Fire Grilled

Regency Centers (904-598-7000) signed a 2,400 sq.ft. lease with Moe’s Southwest Grill at the Village Center, located at the intersection of Fletcher Avenue and North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, FL. The 181,110 sq.ft. shopping center is anchored by Publix, Stein Mart and Walgreens. The company also signed a 4,340 sq.ft. lease with Panera Bread at the Loehmann’s Plaza, located at the intersection of North Druid Hills Road and Briarcliff Road in Atlanta, GA. The 137,879 sq.ft. shopping center is anchored by Loehmann’s and OfficeMax. The company also signed a 29,000 sq.ft. lease with Publix Supermarket at the Vilano Town Center, located in Vilano Beach, FL. The supermarket is scheduled to open during 2009. The company also signed a lease with Wachovia Bank for a land area of 43,692 sq.ft. and a 2,000 sq.ft. lease with Nails of America at Waterside Marketplace, located at the intersection of Grand Parkway and Mason Road in Richmond, TX. The 127,502 sq.ft. shopping center is cotenanted by Great Clips and Liquors 4 Us and anchored by Kroger.

Island Associates (631-982-2100) signed a 3,000 sq.ft. lease with a Maytag laundromat located on Ogden Avenue in Bronx, NY.

Main Street Property Services, Inc. (925-299-8170) signed a lease for 866 sq.ft. with M Clothing on Railroad Avenue in Danville, CA.

Lakritz-Weber (248-353-9494) represented the landlord with a 1,263 sq.ft. lease for Allstate Insurance at Country Creek Commons, located at the intersection of Silver Bell Road and Adams Road in Oakland, MI. The company also completed a 3,200 sq.ft. lease with Dental Care Alliance at Bayview Marketplace, located on Wayne Road in Westland, MI. The company represented the landlord, Westland Associates. The tenant plans to open during November.

JBG Rosenfeld Retail (301-657-0700) signed an 1,800 sq.ft. lease with Starbucks at the Montgomery Village shopping center in Chevy Chase, MD. The coffee shop will occupy an endcap space formerly occupied by Blockbuster Video.

Colliers Keenan (803-254-2300) brokered three leases at Conagree Vista in Columbia, SC, representing: Five Guys Famous Burgers and Fries with a 2,867 sq.ft. lease on Senate Street; Gervais Place, LLC with a 2,415 sq.ft. lease to Starbucks on Gervais Street and GOGA, an upscale women’s boutique, with a 1,400 sq.ft. lease on Lincoln Street.
